Artistic mobility: Trends and funding opportunities

Why do we go through the trouble of moving ourselves and our work to other countries and regions? What is the value of mobility and internationalisation – for the individual artist and for the creative community as a whole? And how do we make it happen; where do we find the resources to move art and artists around the world?

In this event, the Secretary General of On the Move, Marie Le Sourd, will share her knowledge about the potential impact of mobility on artists and creative professionals. She will provide an update on the major trends within mobility, as well as the possibilities for financing mobility through various funding schemes.

After Marie’s talk which will also include Qs&As, Saxe Lomholt who is Head of Creative Europe Desk Denmark, will give a brief introduction to the possibilities of EU funding specifically for performing arts professionals in a mobility context.

Programme:

9.30: Coffee and welcome

9.45: Marie Le Sourd on Artistic Mobility – Trends and Possibilities (+Qs&As)

11.00: Break – more coffee
