Feedback in artistic processes – How to give and how to receive?
Do you work with giving feedback – in residencies, in theatres, in performing arts education, in artistic processes? Are you interested in investigating in depth how we give feedback, why we do it, and what is important to consider?
Together, we will embark on a journey to investigate the ingredients and conditions of constructive feedback, create a language to discuss the often fragile artistic processes we engage in, and explore methodologies, aiming for our sector to enhance the quality of development support of artistic work.
We have invited UK based Rivca Rubin, Director of Imag?ne to give a workshop on Upwording language, approach, feedback and structures.
Our communications today are still riddled with phrases and concepts that cultivate hierarchies and uphold inequalities. If our intention is to move to environments that nurture mutual benefit, promote autonomy and responsible living, we can choose to make active shifts in our intention and language that facilitate, rather than hinder this; Upwording
We have also asked a panel of people from the Danish field who are interested in the field of feedback in artistic development and work with it in their praxis to talk about their experiences and share their thinking.
The meeting is for people who are in charge of artistic processes and for artists creating them.
