VIRTUAL INTERNATIONAL DAYS // CPH STAGE

Again this year we are proud to announce our partnership with CPH STAGE’s International Days.

In collaboration with CPH STAGE we facilitate three virtual international days.
It is a meeting- and showcaseplatform where colleagues from all over the world meet each other. This is where we continue and start conversations with each other. This is where you get a proper insight into Danish performing arts.

This year takes place in the shadow of COVID19 locking down the world as we know it. How do we seize and navigate in a new reality? What does it mean to work internationally in a post-corona time? In other words – how do we rise together?

VIRTUAL international days is a meeting- and showcase platform where colleagues from all over the world meet each other. This is where we continue and start conversations with each other. This is where you get a proper insight into Danish performing arts.

SATURDAY 30. MAY

Broadcasting via ZOOM chanel:1 .00PM – 5.00PMCest

TALK + DISCUSSION:
Exploration of a world with empty stages

Which strategies can the performing arts use in a proactive way to meet the audiences – meet people in different ways while the stages have to remain empty? What are the opportunities and limitations of different strategies to create more intimite formats with fewer audiences or move the art out of the institutions into public space? What kind of digital strategies or gaming strategies make sense? And what about social strategies – reframing the use of the stages and the artistic efforts into helping vulnerable groups in society like e.g. the kids in school or the seniors?
