Seminar on international performance residencies
For one whole day we will focus on international residencies and the impact it has on developing performing art from various perspectives. The day will be packed with key note speakers, cases, perspectives, insights, knowledge sharing and inspiration!
The Seminar will focus on sharing of experiences and knowledge with case studies of RESA – Dansehallerne, Residency Centre – Bora Bora – dans og visuelt teater and Metropolis Residency Programfrom both organizational and artistic perspectives.

Bora Bora – Residency Centre: Bora Bora Residency Centre is an international residency center, based in Aarhus, with a focus on artistic and economically sustainable production conditions and development, for professional artists within the field of contemporary dance.
Dansehallerne – RESA: Dansehallerne has invited a European network of arts organisations, academic research platforms and artist-driven venues active in the field of choreography, to design a pilot programme dedicated to experienced, mid-career choreographers conducting research with own artistic practice as its base and object, aiming for deepened insights, knowledge and collegial exchange needed for artistic development and sustainability in the field.
Metropolis Residencies: Metropolis Residency is a unique international urban residency programme in Copenhagen aimed at performing artists with an interdisciplinary approach, researching, creating and producing in public space and the public realm.
Venue: Nordatlantisk hus, Odense
Target group: The Seminar is open to everyone with an interest in performance residencies either as artist or organization.
