How can we improve co-productions across performing arts institutions? And how can artists secure better conditions and ensure that productions have a longer run when two venues join forces?
On October 1, a publication on artist-driven co-productions will be launched, featuring both a sharing of experiences and a hands-on guide to better co-productions. The publication was prepared by researcher Cecilie Ullerup Schmidt, who has followed the co-production GRWM, created by Aveny-T and C:NTACT.
In conversation with Cecilie Ullerup Schmidt, Erik Pold contributes both his own experiences and insights from the Development Platform’s own publication on co-productions between the independent arts scene and institutional theatres.
The Development Platform’s publication on co-productions will be launched at the Performing Arts Annual Meeting on September 28.
