The KSelekt 2025–26 season will conclude with the world premiere of the dance performance trembl
KSelekt is an independent performing arts program selected by the Danish Arts Foundation for the Royal Danish Theatre. The collaboration is managed by the Development Platform for Performing Arts.
As the final performance of the 2025–26 season, the dance piece *trembl* by Ar Utke Ács will have its world premiere at the Royal Danish Theatre from April 21–25.
What does time look like if we stretch it in sync with a body outside the norm?
The dance performance trembl suspends time as we know it. The time of the able-bodied is over. The performance depicts a dancing, chronically ill avatar and its surrounding world. The audience is invited to witness a self-soothing ritual and stretch their imagination to a world that meets the needs of the chronically ill. Through simultaneous choreography, a sculptural light installation, and circulating soundscapes, the performance creates a polyphony of pulsations and potentials.
trembl has its world premiere as part of KSelekt. It is the second performance in the series the unapparent trilogy created by choreographer Ar Utke Ács.
