Get three new tools for the strategic development of your performing arts organisation
On UPgrade – your digital toolbox we have gathered a number of the key working tools and models used in the Performing Arts Strategy Lab.
Working with strategic development means reflecting on conscious choices and priorities that can support your artistic and organisational visions. Different models and methods can help structure this process. It may sound somewhat distant from everyday artistic practice—but the experience from the Performing Arts Strategy Lab shows that these exercises actually help create clarity and direction for artistic work.
We have collected three models that guide you step by step in creating a strategic overview.
Three steps to a strategic overview:
- The Strategy House is the first step toward gaining a strategic overview and a shared direction for your larger project.
- Core Narrative helps, as the second step, to formulate your identity and the story you want to tell.
- Stakeholder Analysis helps you map your most important relationships and make choices about which networks and partners are most important.
Try the exercises and use what you write down as a supplement to your ongoing conversations about where you want to take your performing arts practice.
The three new digital tools on UPgrade have been developed in collaboration with Operate in connection with the Performing Arts Strategy Lab at Thoravej 29.
