You can now apply to present your work at the Festival for Independent Arts in Copenhagen or Aarhus in January 2027
To highlight the Festival for Independent Arts' vision of quality, diversity, and the latest trends in independent performing arts, the festival's works are curated through an open call.
The festival for Independent Arts' aims to present innovative and experimental performing arts works. We are looking for works that challenge existing conventions within the performing arts in various ways. All formats and genres are welcome.
In Copenhagen, the festival is once again collaborating with venue partners Aveny-T, Sydhavn Teater, and AFUK Scene, and in Aarhus with Åbne Scene at Godsbanen, the music-drama network scene Radar, and Teatret Svalegangen.

Applications for the Festival for Independent Arts' 2027 must be submitted no later than January 10, 2026
