Mini-concert with Amanda Drew
Next time, on Thursday, September 4, you can experience a mini-concert with
composer, singer, and cellist Amanda Drew, who will be performing with her solo project Precious Mayhem.
With cello, synthesizer, guitar, and vocals, Amanda Drew effortlessly and timelessly straddles genres and eras, ranging from chamber music, choral works, 90s techno, and singer-songwriter to a dark, almost occult, experimental avant-pop field, all tied together by her disarming vocals and dramatic harmonic language.
Amanda Drew is also part of the Aarhus-based seven-piece orchestra Natlyst and is currently appearing at the Copenhagen Opera Festival as composer and performer in the work Dronning Annabel, created by Faun Vium and Amanda Drew.
The concert is made possible with support from the Danish Musicians' Union.
