At Drop-in-Advice, you can get professional advice from UP. First Wednesday in December with guest advisor Sofie Mønster
You can look forward to dropping by or booking an appointment for Wednesday, December 3, for Drop-in-Advice in UP's Green Room at Baldersgade 6.
Drop-in-Advice is for you who, as a self-producing performing artist, company, performer, or producer, need advice on specific questions about touring, fundraising, production and co-production, PR, and audience development, etc.
Every first Wednesday of the month (except November), UP's team or other experts are available for professional sparring and dialogue in the Green Room from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The format is open, and the advice sessions last approximately 30 minutes with each advisor.
On Wednesday, December 3, we will be visited by Sofie Mønster, who offers highly competent advice in areas such as:
- fundraising
- strategic development
- entrepreneurship
- collaborative relationships
- interdisciplinary productions

Sofie Mønster has solid experience from festivals and projects at the intersection of performing arts, technology, and research, and has worked with fundraising, event and platform development, and strategic project management with a focus on international and interdisciplinary productions.
Sofie has previously worked as a producer for IETM Aarhus, hello!earth, and Dansehallerne, among others, and is currently working with Jon R. Skulberg as a producer for Convoi Exceptionnel. In addition, she produces audiovisual research communication in the context of Visual Science Studio together with Maja Friis.
In addition to Sofie, UP's development producer Ann-jette Caron and UP's communications manager Mathias Schønberg are also available for consultation.
Ann-Jette Caron is a performing arts producer with many years of experience from project-supported companies, festivals, and institutional theatres. She has in-depth knowledge of the needs and challenges of the project-supported, independent field. She advises on everything within:
- Touring
- Production-related issues
- Funding applications
- Industry knowledge
Mathias Schønberg has a master's degree in rhetoric and is an experienced communicator who has worked in the cultural department of an embassy, is editor of a music media outlet, teaches at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory, and works as a freelance communications consultant. He can advise on:
- Communication and performance texts
- PR, marketing, and social media
- Audience development
- Crisis communication, sustainability communication, and DEI communication
