In show business, the Green Room is the space that serves as a lounge for performers before, during and after a show. We've named our bright and spacious conference room the Green Room and made it the perfect place to host large meetings, conferences and seminars – while maintaining a creative atmosphere.

The room has its own exit to our sunny courtyard where you can enjoy breaks under the parasols. The space is located 5 minutes from Nørrebro station, which is a hub for public transport in Copenhagen – but is nicely secluded from the bustling city neighbourhood.

The room has direct access to two toilets, and our kitchen with coffee machines, kettles, thermos, and crockery is free to use.

Capacity

The room is approximately 45 m2 and has room for 25-30 seated people.

Accessibility

The Green Room is located at street level and has barrier-free access. Wheelchair friendly.

Lighting

The ceiling light provides an even, good light.

Technical, power and inventory

There is wifi, evenly distributed power outlets, and an 82" TV for presentations.

Access

Our key system is digital. On the night of the first day of your booking period, you will receive an email from the key system ‘Salto KS’ with instructions to download an app to your phone. You use this app as your access key for the period you have booked.

Good to know

Get in / get out

Access from the street to the building is through two gates:

The gate from the street measures 2.8m (w) x clear height. The gate to the courtyard measures 2.65m (w) x 3.1m (h). Access to building is through door measuring 2.3m (w) x 2.3m (h).

UP does not have the manpower resources to help you with get in/get out or other setup, including technical assistance during the rental period.

The gate

On weekdays, the gate from Baldersgade to the courtyard closes at 19:00, and it is always closed on weekends.

You can only enter and exit with a code, which is available from UP staff.

Theft and insurance

The lessee is responsible for taking out insurance for the equipment brought along. UP is not responsible for theft or other loss of valuables.

Clean up fee

A fee of DKK 1.000 will be charged to cover UP's extra costs for renters who leave behind stage design, technical equipment, rubbish, etc.

Payment

Booking is only finally confirmed upon payment of the invoice. Invoices are sent when a booking request is approved via our booking site.

Please note that the payment deadline is two days.

Change and cancellation policy


We understand that situations may arise where you may need to change or cancel your venue booking. To accommodate your needs while ensuring fair treatment of our bookings, we have developed the following changes and cancellation policy:

Changes

1.1 Changes to booking dates must be notified no later than 2 months before the original start date. Changes will be accommodated subject to availability.

1.2 Changes to duration must also be made no later than 2 months before the original start date and are subject to availability.

Cancellations

2.1 Cancellations made no later than 2 months before the booking start date will be fully refunded.

2.2 Cancellations made no later than 14 days before the start of the booking will receive a 50% refund.

2.3 Cancellations 13 days or less before the start of the booking are non-refundable.

Changes and cancellation policy

Tenant's responsibility


1. The tenant is responsible for ensuring that the activities carried out by the tenant in the rented premises are not in violation of public regulations.

2. The tenant is liable for damage resulting from neglect, negligence or other irresponsible treatment of the rented property. Furthermore, the tenant is liable for damage caused to the property in connection with the operation of the business run from the rented premises, even if the tenant has not acted recklessly, as well as damage caused to the property by others to whom the tenant has given access to the rented premises.

3. The use of the rented premises must not cause odour, noise or any other form of nuisance or inconvenience to other residents or tenants in the property or neighbourhood.

4. The tenant is not entitled to use common areas or other areas adjacent to the property for storage or storage of goods, packaging or similar.


Use of UP's facilities

- UP's premises may not be used for performances with public access, ticket sales or private events.

- The premises may only be used for rehearsals, development and preparation of performing arts work.

- Work screenings are permitted, but only for a limited audience of a maximum of 20 people and only for specially invited guests. Work screenings may not be publicly announced via social media, newsletters or similar channels.

- UP must be informed of planned work demonstrations no later than one week prior to the event.

- It is the tenant's responsibility to ensure that spectators at work demonstrations behave calmly and do not disturb other users of the building.

- After work demonstrations, it is the tenant's responsibility to ensure that common areas and any other areas used are tidied up and left clean.

Insurance and liability

- The lessee is fully responsible for persons engaged or invited to work in the rented premises, including collaborators, contributors and technicians.

- The lessee must ensure that they have valid liability insurance that covers any damage to persons or property in connection with the use of the premises.

- The lessee is responsible for ensuring that the activity taking place in the rented premises complies with applicable laws and public regulations.

- The lessee is liable for damage resulting from neglect, negligence or other irresponsible use of the rented premises. This also applies to damage that occurs as part of the operation of the lessee's business, even if the lessee has not acted recklessly, as well as damage caused by persons to whom the lessee has granted access.

- Use of the rented premises must not give rise to noise, odour or any other form of nuisance to other users of the building or neighbours.

- Common areas and other areas outside the rented premises may not be used for storage, storage or storage of belongings, materials or waste.

General facilities

Kitchen & foyer

Booking a room at UP gives access to a foyer with coat racks, as well as a kitchen with fridge, coffee machine, kettle and crockery.

Bath & toilet

There are four toilets and shower access on the ground floor.

Car parking

It is not possible to park in the courtyard, but there is regular street parking according to local regulations.
