If you need a studio for development and experimentation or a meeting room, you can rent space at UP. The rooms are rented out to professional performing artists, preferably from the independent field.
Please note that UP does not rent out for private events and performances with public access or ticket sales.
How you book
To book rooms, you need to be a member of UP's booking site. Membership is free and is obtained in the following way:
- Log in to our booking site with your email address.
- Then request membership (click ‘Request to join’), describing who you are and what group you may represent.
- Await for approval from our administrator.
Once you are approved as a member, you can request to book one of our rooms in the booking site SHOP. You can book meeting rooms directly via the booking site ROOMS.
Who can rent the space?
Individuals, companies and collectives working professionally in the performing arts, primarily working for and with independent performing arts groups, project-supported theatres and smaller established theatres.
In addition, metropolitan and regional theatres and other theatres that work for and with independent performing arts groups.

General facilities
Kitchen & foyer
Booking a room with the Development Platform gives access to a foyer with coat racks, as well as a kitchen with fridge, coffee machine, kettle and crockery.
Bathroom & shower
There are four restrooms and shower access on the ground floor.
Car parking
It is not possible to park in the courtyard, but there is regular street parking according to local regulations.
Courtyard area
Booking rooms at Udviklingsplatformen also gives you access to our bright and cosy courtyard in front of the building.
